Comb is most popular, wire and coil, thermal, velo and then tape.
Punching holes takes time in mechanical binding, thermal is hot glue binding the edge of your sheets.
Depends on the thickness of your book and the number of copies you want to make. over 1/2" of paper and 50 books, thermal is by far faster.
