Akiles CoilMac ECI Plus is an easy to use coil binding machine. It has a manual punch and an electric coil binding inserter.

Its many features include:

To coil bind a book requires the following steps:

1. Gather all the sheets that you want to bind and size them for thickness ( what size coil you need ) as well as what size sheets they are.

2. Pull the disengageable die pins out - so that the pages do not get punched on the margins.

3. Place approximately 20 sheets into the punch slot and pull down the punching handle. Repeat until all the sheets are neatly punched.

4. Jog and square up your punched sheets. Then manually twirl a coil binding supply piece into the first couple of holes that you punched. It doesn't matter - top or bottom. Turn on the roller inserting bar, hold the pages with both hands and lightly press the coil that you inserted already against the rotating cylinder bar, which will twirl the rest of the coil into the book.

5. When all the coil is inserted into the book, take the coil cutting pliers and cut off the excess coil.

6. Your book is now coil bound and ready to read!
